Healthy Minds in Bradford Project Worker Chloe Parech and Apprentice Ellie Parker-Smith took part in a Youth Networking Event at Number 10 Downing Street last week.

All Star apprentices have worked with Bradford Museums to produce the new 'Calm' gallery installation at Bradford Council’s Cartwright Hall including the gallery design and selection of artwork displayed. The project received funding through Arts Council England as part of a programme to promote an inclusive visitor welcome and engage young people from the local community in new ways.

They were invited to the Youth Networking Event at the Prime Minister’s official residence, along with Jill Iredale from the Bradford Council’s Museums and Galleries Service.

Chloe and Ellie said: “We had a great time being hosted by the brilliant young people who are working with the Government Art Collection. We also had a tour of Number 10, a talk from an artist and best of all, Larry the cat greeted us, and we also got to meet the Prime Minister’s dog too!”
