Facilities

Junior gym is available for 11 to 15 year olds. Please see the Clubactive timetable.

You no longer need to book for swimming except for the adult lanes swim 12 noon to 1pm.

Badminton, short tennis, table tennis, basketball and 5-a-side football are now available to book. Please note the limit is 4 players per court for badminton, short tennis and table tennis. Book online or call the centre.

Changing rooms and showers are available.

The inflatable and giant slide sessions, and lunchtime swims, are bookable during the school holidays.

Birthday parties are also available to book. Please email sport-and-leisure@bradford.gov.uk for more details.

Classes

We advise that anyone who is attending a class to arrive at least 5 minutes before the class is due to start.

For spin and any pump classes please arrive at least 15 minutes before to allow time to set up the equipment and for a safety briefing.

If you are unable to attend your class please cancel as the earliest opportunity.

Interested in joining one of our Club Active gyms?

We have a range of memberships available. Our Premium membership allows you to use any facility including classes and swim sessions. The membership is available on a non-contract basis payable by monthly direct debit.

Premium £29.95 per month. Ready to commit? Pay for a full year and receive 2 months free of charge for £299.50.

Our Active membership is available for Bradford Leisure Card holders, young people aged 16 or 17 as well as those aged 60+.

Monthly fees are £23.95 paid by direct debit or a 12 month membership for £239.50.

If you are looking to pay monthly cash this is £35.45.

We have a 80 station gym with a range of Cardio machines including Stair Masters and Jacob Ladders. There is a free weight area, resistance machines along with I.F.I compliant resistance machines.

Timetables

Sessions explained

Swim for all: a general swim in an open environment for all swimmers.

Adult only swim (laned): adults only (16+) lane swimming. Swimmers only.

Women only swim (laned): adults only (16+) lane swimming. This swim will be staffed with male and female lifeguards. Swimmers only.

Family swim: this session is for families only to swim. Unaccompanied adults and children will not be admitted.

Pool parties: please ask us for more information.

Steady swim: there are no lanes. The swim is generally at a slower, more relaxed pace. Suitable for those with additional needs. Adults only.

Parent and under 8s swim: this is a play session in the activity pool only. Toys available.

Adults only and swim for all: the pool may be sectioned off during these activities.

Swimming

Our children in swimming pool policy applies in all swim for all, family swim and parent and under 5 sessions.

Children under 4: 1 adult to 1 child.

Children ages 4 to 7: 1 adult to 2 children.

Aged 8 and above: children can go in on their own.

Family swim sessions: no unaccompanied adults or unaccompanied children will be admitted.  

Adult lane swims: customers must be able to swim.

Adult lane swim at lunch time swim sessions are bookable. All bookings are 7 days in advance.

Giant inflatable sessions during school holidays are bookable. All bookings are 7 days in advance.
