Make a request for confirmation of compliance with planning conditions

It is possible to obtain written confirmation from the Council that a condition attached to a planning permission has previously been complied with.

Requests for confirmation of compliance with planning conditions must be submitted in writing and provide the following details:

• the planning reference number 
• a plan describing the application site 
• details of the conditions the application relates to 
• a contact address for the applicant

The application fees are £43 for householder developments and £145 for all other developments. Please note that the application fee is per request and there is no limit to the number of conditions that can be included within each submission.

You will need to provide the site address and payment amount.

Payment can also be made by bank transfer or by telephone on 01274 434605.

We will aim to deal with these applications within 8 weeks.

Please note that any confirmation given would be without prejudice to any ongoing requirements of any condition (for example to maintain soft landscaping for a period of 5 years following completion of the planting scheme).
