SSAFA

SSAFA provide financial, practical and emotional assistance to anyone who is currently serving or has ever served in the Army, Navy or RAF, and their families.

Royal British Legion

Provide practical care, advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.

Actively promote respect and understanding of the Armed Forces Community across the Civilian communities.

Raise money through donations to support the Armed Forces Community.

Support local and national events that promote a positive image of the Armed Forces.

Local RBL hold outreach drop-in sessions at*:

  • City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY on the third Wednesday of every month from 10am to 2pm.  
  • Airedale General Hospital, Skipton Road, Keighley, BD20 6TD on the first Friday of every month from 10am to 2pm.
  • RBL also have a Pop In advice and information Centre at 73-75 Albion Street, Leeds LS1 5AA open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.

*please be aware that drop-in sessions are not in operating during pandemic

Fighting with Pride

Fighting with Pride supports the health and wellbeing of LGBT+ Veterans, service personnel and their families – in particular those most impacted by the ban on LGBT+ personnel serving in the Armed Forces prior to January 2000.
