Public Space Protection (City Park Dog Exclusion Areas) Extension Order No3/ 2020

The City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Public Space Protection (City Park Dog Exclusion Areas) Extension Order No3/ 2020 Relating To Extension Of The Dogs Exclusion (City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council) Order 2011

This extension Order is made by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council   ("the Council") under section 60 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (the Act)

1. This extension Order relates to the public places described in described in the Dogs Exclusion (City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council) Order 2011.
2. The Council is satisfied on reasonable grounds that
   to extend the 2011 order is necessary to prevent—
   (a) occurrence or recurrence after that time of the activities identified in the order, or
   (b) an increase in the frequency or seriousness of those activities after that time.
3. The effect of this Order is to impose the prohibitions as set out in the 2011 order from 24.01hours 21^st October 2020 namely that within the described areas a person or persons are prohibited from the activities set out in the attached 2011 order.
4. Any person who fails without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements imposed on him/her by this Order or does anything that s/he is prohibited from doing by this Order commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale or may be issued with a fixed penalty notice requiring payment of a sum not exceeding £100.
5. This Order will remain in force until midnight on 20^th October 2023 or until the coming into force of the 2021 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Composite Public Space Protection order (Dog Control) at which time it will be discharged.
