Open air lido
You do not need to book for the lido. Just turn up and pay at reception. During busy periods, a one in one out system will be used.
The lido is 45.7 meters (50 yards) across the widest section and 22.8 meters (25 yards) across at the diving area of the lido.
The lido varies in depth:
- the shallow end is 0.3m and slopes down to around 0.7m at the red posts / lane ropes.
- beyond the red posts there is a sudden slope which drops down to 2m. Weak swimmers, people using arm bands, and non-swimmers are not permitted beyond this point
- the diving area is 1.95m deep.
The water temperature varies on a day to day basis, we have an outside water temperature display on view to customers. If the lido drops below 10 °C the pool will close.
