Bradford Council has two separate departments dedicated to the management of trees and woodland within the district.

Planning Service Trees section (private trees)

Enquiry topics:

  • Trees with a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)
  • Trees protected by Conservation Areas
  • Trees affected by development
  • Hedgerow regulations, high hedge legislation
  • Breaches of planning control relating to trees

  • Trees that may be causing subsidence or other damage to property.
