Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan
1. Further Issues and Options (July 2013)
What is the Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan (BCCAAP)?
The Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan (BCCAAP) is being prepared by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council as part of the Local Plan for Bradford.
The Area Action Plan will guide the transformation of the city centre regeneration area up to 2028. It will identify the location of new development and provide detailed policies to help make decisions on planning applications. It will also influence decisions about transport, infrastructure, community facilities, economic development and future investment.
Issues and Options
The Council undertook extensive public consultation on the original Issues and Options in 2007 - 2008, and received a large number of responses.
The Council has now considered these comments, and taking account of the change in the economic climate, has produced a further Issues and Options report.
The report presents a number of Issues currently facing the City Centre and Options to overcome them. The options presented range from planning policies to land use allocations with supporting proposal statements.
Further Issues and Options (July 2013)
The public consultation on the Further Issues and Options has now closed.
