Bradford district Kickstart programme

Bradford Council is working with district partners on this initiative which could provide jobs for hundreds of local young people.

Young people have been disproportionally affected by the economic impacts of Covid-19 so we are keen to do everything it can to help them back into work.

We are supporting young people to address any challenges affecting their ability to secure long term employment and help them with progression opportunities.

The new programme will enhance the council’s existing workforce development strategy which highlights the need for young people and unemployed residents to develop the skills sought by local employers.
