8 February - Please see the Examiners Report
12 January 2017 - The Council has now received the Examiner's report which will be made available as soon as practicable in line with the CIL Regulations 2010 (as amended). The CIL Examination is now closed.
16 November 2016 - The Council has replied to the Examiner in response to her letter regarding the Core Strategy. This letter can be viewed below - see library item CIL/EX/020.
19 October 2016 - The Examiner has written to the Council regarding the Core Strategy. This can be viewed below along with a new map of CIL charging zones requested by the Examiner at the recent hearings. See library items CIL/EX/018 and CIL/EX/019.
30 September 2016 - A Statement of Common Ground has been signed between the Council and respondent McCarthy & Stone. This can be viewed below. See library item CIL/EX/017.
28 September 2016 - The Council was invited to respond to position statements by midnight last night. Their rebuttal document is now available to view below. See library item CIL/EX/016.
21 September 2016 - The Examiner invited position statements for a deadline of 20 September. The statements received, together with a Council response to the Examiner's Matters, issues and questions, can be viewed below - see library items CIL/EX/012 to CIL/EX/015.
08 September 2016 - The Council has produced amended versions of their viability evidence in response to a request made by the the Examiner to ensure that all market viability evidence be presented in metric measurement - see library items CIL/EX/010 and CIL/EX/011.
29 July 2016 - The examiner has produced her Matters, Issues and Questions for the CIL Examination, as well as a Briefing note for participants - see library items CIL/EX/007 and CIL/EX/008.
28 July 2016 - The Council has produced further information as requested by the Examiner's in her initial observations of 6 June 2016 - see library items CIL/EX/005 and CIL/EX/006.
12 July 2016 - The Examiner has announced a provisional date for the CIL examination hearing. This is scheduled to open on Tuesday 4 October 2016 at the Victoria Hall, Saltaire. More details will be issued in due course.
22 June 2016 - The Council has responded to the Examiner's initial observations of 6 June 2016 - see library item CIL/EX/004.
13 June 2016 - The Council has replied to the Examiner's letter of 23 May 2016 - see library item CIL/EX/003.
6 June 2016 - the Examiner has written to the Council with her initial thoughts on the CIL Draft Charging Schedule - see library item CIL/EX/002.
About the examination
The Council submitted the CIL Draft Charging Schedule to the Planning Inspectorate on 12 May 2016, for independent Examination.
This page should be viewed alongside the CIL submission webpage from which the original submission library may be accessed. The submission library also contains a full set of representations submitted at the CIL Draft Charging Schedule stage.
Further library items will be added to this Examination page as the Examination progresses and representors and other interested parties are encouraged to view it on a regular basis for new items and latest developments.
The Examiner
Ms Louise Nurser BA (Hons) Dip UP MRTPI has been appointed to undertake the independent examination into the Bradford CIL.
The hearings
The Examiner considered a short series of hearings as part of the Examination process. The hearings took place on Tuesday 4 October in the Evans Room at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, Bradford, and were open to the public to observe.
The Examiner has considered all the evidence presented and submitted her report for the Council. The Examination is now closed. The Examiner can receive no further information from any party. Any unsolicited material will be returned.
