Purpose

Development of a Community Health and Wellbeing Centre from which a wide range of services is provided, will improve the health and wellbeing of the local population by addressing not only the medical needs but also the wider determinants of health.

Objectives

  • To make people healthier, happier and have access to high quality care.
  • To give people the support to stay healthy, well and independent throughout their whole life.
  • Providing people with a joined-up health, care and wellbeing service, which is designed around their needs, and as close to home as possible.
  • The centre will provide the best in physical and mental health clinical practice from primary, community, and secondary care, alongside a range of complementary services and activities from the local authority and voluntary and community sector organisations.
