Chemical waste

We have disposal facilities at our Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) for household chemicals and paint.

We can’t accept the following at our HWRCs

  • anything over 5 litres in volume
  • farming chemicals
  • industrial/commercial chemicals

We currently can’t accept or collect commercial chemical waste. Businesses, schools and other local authorities should make private arrangements with suitably qualified companies for their disposal needs.
