Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council and Silsden Town Council submitted a joint Neighbourhood Area Application to the Council on 11 June 2014.
The Council undertook public consultation on the submitted application for a period of 8 weeks from 14 July until 8 September 2014.
As a post consultation body, Keighley Area Committee were invited to consider the Neighbourhood Area Application at its meeting on 23 October 2014 and again on 27 November 2014.
This application was approved by the Council's Executive Committee on 2 December 2014.
