What happens next

All representations received will be submitted together with the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents for an independent examination by a suitably qualified, and independent person, known as an examiner.

The independent examiner will assess whether the neighbourhood plan meets the Basic Conditions (set out in law) and other legislative requirements. They will determine whether the proceeds (with or without modifications) to a local referendum.

Details of the examiner's appointment and the examination itself will be published when appropriate. The referendum will be arranged by the Council's Electoral Services team, at a date to be arranged.
