Core Strategy DPD

10 Adoption (18 July 2017)

The Core Strategy was adopted by Bradford Council on 18 July 2017, after being found sound by the Inspector appointed to oversee the public examination process, subject to the inclusion of the Main Modifications set out in the Appendix to his report.

The Core Strategy now forms part of the Development Plan for the Bradford District and will be used in determining planning applications.

The Council will continue to have regard to the remaining RUDP 'saved' policies. A list of saved and superseded policies is set out in the Schedule of 'Saved' RUDP Policies document which is available below.

All Local Plan documents will be directly guided by the Core Strategy policies, including the Site Allocations Plan, Bradford City Centre and Shipley Canal Road Corridor Area Action Plans (AAPs), Waste Development Plan Document (DPD) and Neighbourhood Plans.

A hard copy of the adopted Core Strategy has now been placed at the usual deposit locations.

The Core Strategy document can be accessed by clicking on the folder at the top of this page.
