Buildings, like people, suffer from an ageing process which can result in sudden and dramatic changes. Accidental damage can also occur through impact from vehicles, fire and explosion. Building Control provides a service that gives assistance and guidance to overcome the many problems arising from these situations.

Our aim is to safeguard public safety by dealing with these situations quickly. Although responsibility for dangerous buildings rests with owners, we do give direction and guidance and sometimes in emergency situations remove the danger ourselves and recharge the cost to the building owner.
