Visiting our Libraries

Bradford Libraries are open for everyone.

There are 27 Libraries across Bradford District. All our Libraries are free to visit. You can find your nearest Library here.

Our Library offers include:

Why join the Library?

You can always visit our Libraries without joining as a Library member.

You can join the Library even if you do not have proof of personal ID

When you join us, we will give you a free Library card:

A Bradford Libraries membership card. It has a photo of Bradford City Park and the Council logo, the words 'Library card', and the URL for the Libraries website.

Everyone with a Library card can:

  • Access Library computers and printing (charges apply for printing)
  • Borrow free e-books and e-audio books to read anywhere on your device.
  • Use our digital resources on your device in the Library or at home.
