Visiting our Libraries
Bradford Libraries are open for everyone.
There are 27 Libraries across Bradford District. All our Libraries are free to visit. You can find your nearest Library here.
Our Library offers include:
- Friendly and supportive Library teams offering a warm welcome
- Information about the local area and sources of help and support
- Access to free wi-fi and use of the PressReader hotspot with your device when you visit.
- Regular family activities and other free events for children.
- Work Clubs and Learn My Way Computer sessions at selected locations.
- Poetry nights, creative writing and other events celebrating our District’s rich heritage and cultural diversity. Check for events on Bradford Libraries Facebook page.

You can always visit our Libraries without joining as a Library member.
You can join the Library even if you do not have proof of personal ID
When you join us, we will give you a free Library card:
Everyone with a Library card can:
- Access Library computers and printing (charges apply for printing)
- Borrow free e-books and e-audio books to read anywhere on your device.
- Use our digital resources on your device in the Library or at home.
