Sanctuary Seekers of Bradford film
Sanctuary seekers of Bradford is a 30-minute documentary following “the lives of three Bradford residents from different walks of life; retired train driver Mick, primary school worker Hamida and settled refugee Asumani, as they each show practical care and kindness and compassion to refugees and asylum seekers living in the city. Offering friendship and a warm welcome, they help people overcome the many obstacles faced in the long and challenging journey of rebuilding their lives in the UK.”
The Sanctuary Seekers of Bradford film was produced by Bradford based Faith + Bones and is available for free – click here to watch on YouTube.
Bradford for Everyone
Bradford for Everyone is a Bradford Council strategy and collection of resources supporting and connecting “partners across the district who are working to create a more cohesive, equal and progressive Bradford District for all.” The website hosts the Bradford People’s Library - a collection of ‘human books’ highlighting the many things we have in common as human beings, as well as celebrating our differences.
