Heaton Estates Conservation Area Assessment

The Heaton Estates Conservation Area Assessment contains a detailed analysis of the character of the conservation area and describes its special character and interest. The document and the revised conservation area boundary were approved by Bradford West and Shipley Area Committees on 23 November 2005.

Heaton Estates Conservation Area Appraisal

The Heaton Estates Conservation Area Appraisal was undertaken in May 2008. The Appraisal is a means of updating the original assessment. The appraisal considers authenticity, changes that have taken place, opportunities and threats to the Conservation Area. It also maps the key characteristics of the area and contains Management Proposals. Any changes that affect the designation of the Conservation Area will be reported to the relevant committee.
