Home adapted for a disabled person
You may get a discount if your home has been changed to help someone with a permanent disability. This includes:
- an extra bathroom
- a special room (for example, for physiotherapy)
- space for a wheelchair to be used indoors
If you qualify, your Council Tax band will be lowered by one band. If your home is already in band A, your bill will be reduced by one sixth.
