What is a renewal of vows ceremony?

We offer ceremonies to couples who wish to renew their marriage vows and or civil partnership formation. The ceremonies cannot have any religious content and they have no legal status. They can be used for a variety of different reasons. Sometimes couples marry abroad but wish to have a celebration for their family and friends when they return to this country. Some couples choose to renew their vows to celebrate a wedding anniversary or maybe even after they have been through a difficult time in their marriage.

Where can a renewal of vows ceremony be held?

These ceremonies can be held at

• The Register Office, City Hall Bradford
• The Priestley Suite, City Hall Bradford
• Civic rooms, Bradford City Hall
• Keighley Town Hall 

or at one of the Approved Premises where marriage ceremonies are held. Other venues with a Public Liability insurance may also be considered.
