Bradford District Council Elections 2018

There are elections on Thursday, 3 May. Please see the Notice of Election.

The deadline to register to vote in the local elections on 3 May 2018 has now passed. However, if you are not already registered you can still register at any time to vote in future elections.

Find out more about registering to vote.

Poll cards

If you will be voting on the day you will be sent a poll card before the election telling you where to vote.

You do not need a poll card to vote, so long as you are on the register.

Where to vote

If you need to check which polling station you should vote at, you can see all Bradford District polling stations on our website.

All polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.

How to vote if you can't get to a polling station on 3 May

If you are not able to vote at the polling station, you can apply to vote by post or proxy (someone else to vote on your behalf).  If you already have a postal or proxy vote in place, you do not need to reapply. The deadline to apply for a postal vote has now passed, but there is still time to apply to vote by proxy.

For you to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, you need to apply by 5pm on Wednesday, 25 April 2018.

You can download a proxy vote form from our voting by proxy page.

You can also get a proxy vote application form by contacting Electoral Services on 01274 431360.
