The Agency Service

If you are carrying out repairs or improvements to your home or a property that you own, you may have to apply for necessary permissions, deal with issues like party wall agreements, get quotes from contractors and supervise the work that is being carried out. This can be very complex and take up a lot of your time.

If we are giving you financial assistance with carrying out repairs or improvements via a loan you can choose to use the Agency Service, which means that we will sort out a contractor for you, deal with any permissions that are needed and supervise the work being carried out.

There is a fee for using the Agency Service which is 15% of the total cost of the repairs or improvements plus VAT. We can, however, usually include this cost in any loan that we are arranging for you.
