For further information about your littering from vehicle penalty please visit View evidence or challenge your littering from vehicle penalty | Bradford Council
Please do not pay the PCN if you wish to submit a representation. A payment received for a PCN closes the case as liability for the contravention has been accepted.
Your challenge should be made as soon as possible.
Please note that if you have received a bus lane PCN or a Notice to Owner letter then only the registered keeper can appeal. This rule does not apply if you have hired the vehicle and have received correspondence from the Council.
How to appeal online
Before you start make sure that you have your vehicle registration number, your penalty charge notice (PCN) number and your contravention code. The penalty charge number starts with BQ and is 10 digits long.
For parking contraventions this information may be found on your PCN:
For bus lane contraventions this information maybe found on your letter in the top right hand side text box. The contravention code is 34 (do not include the J).
- If your appeal is received within the 14 day discount period (21 days for bus lane contraventions) but is rejected, you will be allowed a further 14 days (21 days for bus lane contraventions) to pay the reduced charge. This applies at the first stage of appeal only.
- Please wait for a decision to your appeal, do NOT pay in the meantime.
Please note
If you have any difficulties accessing or using the online system we advise you to try again as faults are quickly resolved.
You may be required to re-enter your details more than once, unfortunately this cannot be avoided.
