Free access to leisure centres and swimming pools for members of the British Armed Forces

British Armed forces get a heroes welcome at all our facilities.

Are you a member of the British Armed Forces?

Serving members of the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force and their immediate family (living at same address) can use our leisure centres and swimming pools for free. This offer is also open to those who have left the forces in the last five years and service personnel living outside the Bradford district.

The following leisure centres and swimming pools are all included in this offer:

• Bowling Pool
• Eccleshill Pool 
• Ilkley indoor pool*
• Manningham Sports Centre 
• Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre
• Shipley Pool 
• The Leisure Centre, Keighley 
• Thornton Recreation Centre

*Ilkley Lido not included.

Armed Forces personnel ID cards must be shown as proof of eligibility on each visit to gain free access. Proof of address of any immediate family accompanying will also be required.
