Support for carers
Carers' Service for the Bradford and Craven Districts
What is the Carers' Service?
The service provides help and support for unpaid carers to have a life of their own along with their caring role. This is done by helping carers to discover opportunities for social and leisure activities as well as training, work and education.
If you would like more information please see the Carers' Resource website.
How does the service work?
The service works across the Bradford and Craven districts with locally based staff active across the whole area. The service is supported by GP surgeries and a range of health and social care professionals and is active in a range of community venues. Contact Carers’ Resource for details of support venues in your area. The service supports carers to lead a life outside their caring role and to take action to relieve the strain of caring.
